Indicate your interest by pre-registering with a $500 deposit. Registration will be finalized in the priority listed:
- Patron WSNF Members,
- All other WSNF Members,
- General Public.
Your $500 is refundable except for a $50 handling fee.
Otherwise, your $500 will be applied in full toward the final published cost of the trip.
Pre-registration with $500 closes on March 31.
You will be informed of Final Registration results by April 10.
A waitlist will remain active until May 18.

Explore the varied cultural landscapes of Japan over 15 days and nights. This tour begins with the annual Shibori Fest in Arimatsu and includes two shibori workshops. The first is an optional five-day Arashi Shibori Workshop taught by Kaei Hayakawa, the last practicing Arashi artist in Japan, followed by a two-day workshop offered by shibori specialists and dyers, Kuno, Murase, and Wada. You will experience sites in Kyoto and Nagoya, mostly using public transport like the natives.
Arrive in Nagoya, Japan, on 6/2/23. The tour program ends on 6/17/23.
All accommodations, transportation, and most meals are included.
There will be a separate fee for Hayakawa's 5-day Arashi workshop. Five lunches and all materials are included.
All sales are final. No returns or refunds.

USPS First Class International shipping does not include tracking service. Please use Priority Mail International or higher to guarantee tracking to the destination.
Slow Fiber Studios is not responsible for packages held or confiscated at customs. Customs may delay your package delivery significantly. Some countries may require in-person pickup or charge fees before releasing your package. The customer is responsible for any customs fees. Using Priority Mail International or higher is more likely to expedite your package.
