Participation Fee for a 5-day Arashi Shibori Workshop for Japan Tour-4, Option 2
A rare opportunity to participate in an optional five day Arashi Shibori Workshop in Arimatsu taught by Kaei Hayakawa, the last in the lineage of practicing Arashi shibori artists in Japan. This workshop is the first of its kind, introducing Hayakawa’s inventive approach to Arashi shibori and his tour de force contemporary creations.
This workshop is limited to 10 students due to the nature of Hayakawa-san’s studio space.
The fee includes all materials, hands-on instruction, demonstrations, discussions, use of Mr. Kaei’s unique tools and equipment, and group lunches with Mr. Kaei Hayakawa.
